Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we get asked most — placeholder wording for now, happy to refine.
WPC (Wood-Plastic Composite) cladding is made by combining wood fibre with plastic polymers under heat and pressure, creating a board that looks and feels like natural timber but performs very differently outdoors. Unlike solid timber, WPC won't warp, split or rot, and it doesn't need the sanding, staining or sealing that timber requires to stay looking good.
Most residential jobs take anywhere from a few days to around two weeks, depending on the size of the area, the complexity of the design (feature walls, fluted panels, corners and details), and site access. We'll give you a firm timeframe as part of your quote, after an onsite assessment.
Yes — WPC cladding works well both outdoors (exterior walls, fencing, entrances, alfresco areas) and indoors (feature walls, ceilings, columns). We tailor the profile and fixing method to suit the specific application.
Yes — that's one of its biggest advantages. WPC cladding doesn't need painting, staining or sealing; an occasional wash down with water is generally all it takes to keep it looking sharp, unlike timber, which needs regular re-staining and sealing to prevent weather damage.
